The Meaning Behind AGIGA
In Silicon Valley, the race for AGI is often reduced to compute and benchmarks. At AGIGA, we believe that race is missing the point.
Our name stands for Artificial General Intelligence, General Availability. We believe intelligence isn’t truly "general" if it only serves those who can already see and navigate the world with ease. To us, General Availability is a moral requirement: It isn’t true AGI unless everyone can enjoy its benefits.
Our Mission: Empower Every Life
Founded by veterans of Google and Amazon, AGIGA was born from a simple observation: while AI moved at light speed, it was leaving the blind and low-vision community behind. We left "big tech" to bring the world’s most advanced AI out of data centers and into a form factor that matters: EchoVision. EchoVision isn't just "assistive" tech; it is empowering technology. It is the first and only smart glasses made by, with, and for the blind and low vision community to turn complex environments into clear, real-time narration.
The Vision Behind the Smile
Our logo is a smiley face—some even see it as a smiley wearing a pair of glasses. It represents our ultimate dream: the joy and independence that happens when the world’s most advanced technology is used to move a human life forward.
This path belongs to all of us. Join us on this journey as we redefine what’s possible. Let’s empower every life, together.
