AGIGA, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our EchoVision Smart Glasses, companion mobile apps (iOS and Android), and associated cloud and web services (collectively, “Services”) collect, use, and protect personal information.
1. Overview
EchoVision is designed to empower blind and low-vision users through AI-based vision and speech technologies.
To provide core functionality—such as device setup, voice interaction, visual assistance, and cloud-based recognition—we process certain user data securely and transparently.
2. Data We Collect
a. Information You Provide
- Account Details: Email address, name, and optional profile information.
- Device Pairing Data: Serial number or Bluetooth identifier for EchoVision glasses.
- Feedback or Support Messages: Text, image, or audio content you submit when contacting us.
b. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Logs: App version, device model, OS version (iOS or Android), crash reports, and diagnostic events.
- Connection Data: Bluetooth pairing events, firmware version, and connection quality.
- Location Data: Information about your approximate or precise location. This is collected to facilitate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity for pairing with EchoVision glasses and/or to support location-based assistance features. We do not use this data to track your movements for advertising purposes.
- Speech Data (if enabled): Short audio snippets temporarily processed to recognize voice commands.
- Camera Data (if enabled): Still images or frames captured for text reading or object recognition.
Images are processed locally on the device or in our secure cloud for the duration of the request and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you explicitly save them(for example, when the chat history in the EchoVision app was turned on, or when submitting feedback).
We ensure that all data used for model improvement is stripped of direct personal identifiers when processed. Access to raw chat history and feedback data is strictly limited to authorized engineering and data science teams, and only for the duration necessary for training, validation, or support resolution.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected only to:
- Enable device pairing and core features.
- Improve AI accuracy for speech and vision.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues.
- Notify you of safety or software updates.
- Comply with applicable laws and accessibility regulations.
We do not use personal data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Note: Your Personal AI Interaction History
To enhance your experience, you have the option to enable Chat History, which saves a record of your AI queries and responses.

Purpose & Convenience: This data is stored exclusively for your personal reference. It allows you to revisit important information—such as a narrated menu, a street address, or a product label—directly within the EchoVision companion app whenever you need it.

Privacy First: We do not use your chat history for internal analysis, debugging, or to train our AI models. Your conversations remain private and are for your eyes (and ears) only.

The Only Exception: If you choose to submit a bug report, the specific data associated with that interaction will be used by our engineering team to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Full User Control: You are in the driver’s seat. You can opt-in or out of history-saving at any time and can delete specific entries or your entire history through the EchoVision app settings.
4. Data Sharing
We share limited data only with trusted partners who support our operations:
- Cloud Providers (e.g., AWS) for secure storage and processing.
- Analytics Services for aggregated and anonymous performance insights.
- Customer Support Platforms when you contact us for help.
All partners are bound by strict data protection agreements consistent with laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
5. Data Retention
Essential account and device data are retained while your account remains active. This does not include chat history such as text or images, which may be removed periodically. We reserve the right to delete chat content, including images and text, as part of storage optimization and cost-reduction measures.
Non-aggregated Logs and diagnostics are retained for up to 90 days for debugging and performance analysis.
You can request complete data deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information:
- Encryption: HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and AES-based server-side encryption on AWS.
- Access Control: Only authorized AGIGA personnel have access to production systems.
- Credential Security: Passwords are hashed and tokens use industry-standard JWT authentication.
- Monitoring: Regular audits and security reviews maintain system integrity.
7. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access your personal data.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.

8. Children’s Privacy
EchoVision is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
