The Pre-Product Era

Roots in the Community

Long before EchoVision took its physical form, we were on the ground listening. We partnered with the East Bay Center for the Blind and collaborated closely with other community leaders to refine our core concepts. By observing how people who are blind or have low vision interact with their world daily, we ensured that every feature of EchoVision was born from a real need.

The Vista Center Trials

Refining the Vision

In September 2024, we took our early concepts to the Ignite Accessibility Entrepreneur Pitch hosted by the San Jose Vista Center. This event, followed by a closed door community Lunch and Learn, provided the critical first-hand feedback we needed to polish the user experience. This is just an example of how we ensure EchoVision resonated with the community before stepping onto the world stage.

CSUN 2025

The Grand Debut

EchoVision officially debuted to the public at CSUN 2025, drawing immediate and widespread attention. Hundreds of attendees experienced the power of our AI firsthand, and the response was electric. The BBC described the technology as “Very Promising,” and we were honored when Stevie Wonder stopped by our booth to experience EchoVision for himself, marking a historic milestone for our team.

ACB & NFB Partnerships

Continuous Evolution

Following our debut, we entered a phase of intensive field testing as a proud sponsor of the ACB (American Council of the Blind) and NFB (National Federation of the Blind) conventions. By putting our latest prototypes into the hands of hundreds of participants for group studies, we ensured that EchoVision continues to grow and adapt based on the rigorous standards of the community.

CES Innovation for All
