ACC-01: Braille displays

• Status: Planned. On our research list. Uses you described: deafblind users, loud places, spelling labels, and reading privately.
• What owners asked: Could EchoVision send what it reads and says to my refreshable braille display, and take input from its keyboard?

ACC-04: Apps from outside developers

• Status: Under review.
• What owners asked: Will outside developers be able to build apps or integrations for the glasses?

ACC-05: Garmin watch integration

• Status: Under review.
• What owners asked: During workouts, particularly on elliptical machines, I'd love to ask EchoVision for my current heart rate, calories burned, workout duration, distance, and other fitness statistics. Ideally, the glasses would retrieve this information directly from my Garmin watch without requiring me to point the camera at the watch or use my phone. It would also be wonderful to receive automatic spoken fitness updates during workouts.

Released

ACC-02: Hearing aids

• Status: Released. Early support for ASHA hearing aids added in September 2026, with fixes in October. Hearing aids that only support Bluetooth LE Audio don't work yet.
• What owners asked: Will EchoVision work with my hearing aids?

ACC-03: BlindShell phones

• Status: Released. Since November 2, 2026, the EchoVision Smart Glasses app is available on BlindShell Classic 3 and BlindShell Classic 2 phones. You can pair your glasses, get firmware updates, and change the glasses' settings from the phone; to get started, see Installing the App on a BlindShell Phone in the User Guide.
